About Us

Tucked into the historic district of Fayette, Fannie’s is a restaurant dedicated to providing residents with made-from-scratch baked goods, premium sandwiches and delicious daily specials. We chose the name “Fannie’s” for our welcoming space to celebrate the legacy of Fannie McCool Taylor, a remarkable woman and highly regarded citizen, noted for her gifts and talents relating to food, community service and hospitality — we aim to embody those gifts with what we do every day.

Fannie’s, is a gathering place for the community. Whether you’re sharing a meal with your family, sipping coffee in our courtyard, or renting our space for an event, our dedicated team will work with you to find the experience you are looking for.

As a locally owned business, we also make supporting the Fayette community a primary focus. Fannie’s achieves this by sourcing fresh ingredients from local growers and businesses, participating in sustainability best practices and prioritizing farm-to-table principles.

Executive Chef

“Great food is fresh food and fresh food is local food. I feel it is critical for food service industries to support local businesses in their endeavors. We believe that a strong support base begins in your neighborhood, which is why believe in patronizing all the local suppliers we can. In fact we build our menus around what is first locally available and fresh. The ultimate goal would be to have a business that is more than 50% of total output, supplied by local vendors. We are always looking for new business partnerships which first promote the artisans within our community rather than large cookie cutter corporate entities. While we are a long way from our ultimate goal, it begins with a standard ideal by which we stick to, and these basic concepts are our personal and professional base upon which our business is built. By supporting us, you are supporting other local families and individuals with similar ideals. Join us in building a stronger community or help us by finding other local suppliers to partner up with.”- Jeremy Moore
